Welcome to worship, Kavanaugh style

Experience worship at our 10:55 a.m. traditional worship service.  Pastor John Kay usually delivers the Sunday sermon.  Expect an enthusiastically-delivered, hope-filled, biblical message with practical application for your life.  The sermon series for late February and early March is "Prototype," in which you will discover that you are more like Jesus than you might have thought.

Vibrant music

Kavanaugh is known for our vibrant music. Dr. Randall Hooper leads Kavanaugh's music ministry.  He serves on the faculty at Texas A&M University-Commerce as the Director of Choirs and Vocal Activities and as the conductor of the University Chorale and Chamber Singers. Many of the church's Chancel Choir members are music majors at A&M-Commerce. Accomplished organist and organ teacher, Kathy Logan plays the church's Aeolian-Skinner Pipe Organ and K. Kawai baby grand piano during the traditional worship service.  Dr. Hooper has directed the Celebration Singers children’s choir, some of whom attend Kava-Kids after school during the school year.
